NISSAN SYLPHY

THE LATEST VERSION ofNissan’s sub-Teana executive saloon, the Sylphy, made its debut at Beijing.
Nissan says it is aimed at emerging markets and should be officially launched in China this summer and in other world markets shortly thereafter.

Nissan says the new Sylphy offers a more premium experience than its competitors and is constructed using improved materials. It sports a chrome grille, LED-lined headlamps, while the rear has LED tail-lights and a sharply angled boot lid. It will be powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine mated to a CVT gearbox. Should Nissan bring it to our shores, we expect the Sylphy to fill the gap between the Sunny and the Teana and sit in the same segment as the Renault Fluence.
